ECUMENICAL ADVOCACY DAYS (EAD)

The annual EAD conference is a space for the ecumenical Christian community to worship, reflect theologically, learn, and witness together to U.S. legislators.

Drawing over 800 people each year with the support of many Christian communions and over 45 organization, EAD is one of our most powerful national opportunities for public witness.

This coming year's theme, drawn from the prophet Isaiah, is IS THIS THE FAST I SEEK? ECONOMY, LIVELIHOOD & OUR NATIONAL PRIORITIES.

The Eco-Justice track at EAD will include a series of 1.5 hour workshops about how economic justice relates to a number of topics, including environmental health, public lands, energy production and use, climate justice, and sustainable living, such as:

--God's Holy Mountain: Faithful Voices Challenge Mountaintop Removal Coal Mining

--Environmental Health and Economic Justice

--Climage Justice: Caring for Our Global Neighbors

--A Gift to be Simple: Sustainable Living, Consumer Culture, and Economy
